The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory has launched its
40G/100G Ethernet program in anticipation of the commercial roll out of the
technologies. The new program will offer interoperability testing for equipment
built to the 40G/100G Ethernet standard, called IEEE 802.3ba and ratified in
June 2010. “As standards evolve, our on-going participation in Ethernet standards
development has given us particular insights into the best ways to test products and
ensure interoperability,” said Jeff Lapak, senior engineer for the UNH-IOL.
