Cable and Channel Testing Service

High speed copper interconnects are being used in many applications such as 10/40/100G Ethernet, SAS/SATA, and many others. Our Cable testing services focus on testing high-bandwidth copper cable and backplane assemblies. 

We have over two decades of providing Ethernet verification, which has led us to having one of the largest interoperability test beds of recently released and legacy devices.

Service Overview

Our Cable Testing Service has application specific testing for: 

• High Speed Ethernet
  • SFP through SFP28
  • QSFP+ and QSFP28
  • Infiniband cables
  • and many others

We also can provide non-standard specific testing for almost any cable type and construction. Measurements can performed using either VNA or TDR (Time Domain Reflectomony) instruments. Our systems are currently capable of testing bandwidths from DC to 43.5 GHz. 

Testing Fees

Generic Cable testing is performed and charged on a per-lane fee basis, testing to a specific standard is charged on a per cable basis.

Additional Details

Results can be reported in two ways, either certification to a given standard or a channel characteristics report.
