Proposed Test Plan:
The test plan that will be used at this event can be found here. Comments and edits to the test plan are encouraged, but must be made by the registration deadline of September 29th. The test event will include testing iWARP, RoCE, and Infiniband transports, with the following tests:
- Transport Independent (runs on iWARP, RoCE, and Infiniband):
- Link Initialize
- RDMA
- RDMA Stress
- MPI
- NFSoRDMA
- uDAPL
- NVMeoF
- iSER
- RoCE specific tests:
- Fabric Initialize
- IP over RoCE
- Infiniband specific tests:
- Fabric Initialize
- IPoIB Connected mode
- IPoIB Datagram mode
- SM Failover
- SRP
Test Enviornment:
The OFA cluster offers a unique mix of old and new hardware, ranging from 10G to 100G, ensuring interoperability for all devices. RoCE and iWARP are using a Mellanox SN2700 100G switch, and Infiniband uses 4 Mellanox switches that include an IS-5030, SX6025, SX6036, and a SX6036-G. There are currently 6 unique link partners for Infiniband, 8 for RoCE, and 4 for iWARP. Testing will include running OFED 4.17 on top of RHEL 7.5, as well as RHEL 7.5 using the inbox drivers and RDMA stack. Please Contact Us with any questions, comments, or concerns.
