Overview
The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL) will be hosting the User Services Platform (USP / TR-369) Plugfest during the week of September 16, 2024. Participants MUST register to participate. The plugfest is an in-person event and you must be a Broadband Forum member to participate.
Who Should Attend
The plugfest is open to vendors, implementers, and operators with development teams focused on solutions, such as:
- USP Controller(s)
- Broadband CPE and Wi-Fi devices with USP Agents
- CPE applications using prplLCM for prplOS/RDK
- Other connected devices implementing USP Agents such as Set Top Boxes and Smart Home Hubs

You'll be able to demonstrate interoperability in a diverse and dynamic ecosystem, ensuring that your solutions can work seamlessly with others. Test Plan Highlights
The event will feature a new and refreshed test plan designed to cover a wide range of scenarios, including:
- Interoperability of core functionality
- Multi-controller test cases
- TR-069 and USP Co-existence
- Managed Wi-Fi
- Software Module Management
And more, as the test plan evolves.
The formal test plan for this event is developed by the Broadband Forum, and is available to members. Link is forthcoming.

Register for the plugfest:
The UNH-IOL and Broadband Forum are distinct organizations. The UNH-IOL is hosting this event on behalf of the Broadband Forum. In order for companies to participate they have to register and pay the plugfest fee of $4,500.
You will be invoiced for the fee, following submission of the registration.
All companies participating in the plugfest must complete the registration form below. A completed registration form, submitted prior to the event, will be the only means for access to the Plugfest facility. The registration form must be submitted prior to the Plugfest. Please use the the online registration form to register all attendees. Maximum number of attendees per company is 4.

Failure to register before the deadline will result in a $500 late fee.
Non-Disclosure Agreement
A Non-Disclosure Agreement must be signed by all participating companies, and must be on file prior to participation in the Plugfest.

Guidelines for Shipping:
Companies shipping equipment to and from the UNH-IOL are required to cover all shipping and customs/duties costs. Failure to do so will require the UNH-IOL to bill the member company for any outstanding shipping and customs/duties charges plus a one hundred dollar ($100 USD) handling fee. We receive/ship using FedEx and UPS.
Please be aware that:
Crates must not exceed the dimensions of our loading dock area, which is 56” wide x 90” high (1.4m x 2.28m). The weight of each crate should not exceed 4,000 pounds (1,814 kg). If a crate shipped to us is larger, we may have to de-crate the equipment in order to bring it into our lab.
Our loading dock includes a dock leveler and a liftgate is not required for delivery vehicles. Please note we have an alley dock and it may be difficult for larger trailers, the recommended maximum trailer length is 48'.
No collect shipments will be accepted, and all shipping fees, including U.S. Customs charges, are the responsibility of the shipper. UNH-IOL will NOT pay for U.S. Customs charges, and prepayment of Customs charges is required.
Please remember that international shipments must be cleared through U.S. Customs, which could take up to a week of additional time in shipping.
There is no Saturday or Sunday delivery to our facility.

Press Releases
This event is facilitated by the UNH-IOL for the Broadband Forum. Due to the technical goals and confidentiality of these plugfests, no participants may issue a press release, or other public statements, regarding their participation or results. It is the sole responsibility of the Broadband Forum to issue any press releases regarding this event.
